John and Martha King are after some new ratings! This past weekend, John and Martha, who are newly registered EAA ultralight pilots, each took training through solo in a powered parachute at the Bonneville Skybase in Salt Lake City, Utah. John logged 4.9 hours of solo time while Martha logged 3.5 hours…a mechanical problem with her machine that limited her flying time. “Flying a ppc is every bit as much fun as we anticipated,” said Martha.
