12/29/04 – FIRST CLASS OF SPORT PILOT DPES SELECTED
The FAA announced on Tuesday that the date of the very first sport pilot designated pilot examiner (DPE) initial qualification course has been set for January 17-22, 2005. The first five courses will be held in Sebring, Florida. Click here for the complete course schedule for 2005. Eight participants will take the course, including four EAA members: Roy Beisswenger, Brian Carpenter, Eric Johnson, and Lawrence Littlefield. The four other course participants are William Bardin, John Beaman, Robert Bleadon, and George Methvin. EAA congratulates all those selected for this special endeavor. |
