04/08/05 - JABIRU ENGINES ANNOUNCE ASTM COMPLIANCE
Jabiru Aircraft, Australia, announced that its four-cylinder Jabiru 2200 engine and its six-cylinder 3300 engine meet ASTM Standard F2339-04 (Standard Practice for Design and Manufacture of Reciprocating Spark Ignition Engines for Light Sport Aircraft).
Jabiru’s statement of compliance covers the followings engines:
- Jabiru 2200A,from S/N 22A1845 and above
- Jabiru 3300A, from S/N 33A722 and above
Engines must be installed, operated, and maintained in accordance with the provisions, limitations, and instructions of the applicable Jabiru-approved publications and continuing airworthiness instructions.
