08/03/05 - ONLINE SPORT PILOT FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR DATABASE AVAILABLE

EAA’s previously announced sport pilot flight instructor database is now available on the EAA sport pilot website. It can be accessed from either the “Becoming a Sport Pilot” or “Instruction” drop-down menus on the sport pilot website. Users can also visit http://www.sportpilot.org/instructors/ directly. The database has 72 instructors, 30 of whom have an aircraft available. Instructors are based in 31 states.

EAA/NAFI continue to ask current flight instructors to provide their current information by completing an online information form. “It is very important that all flight instructors who are willing to teach a sport pilot complete the online information form,” said Timm Bogenhagen, EAA Aviation Services “With the flight instructor database available online, students will have greater access to possible instructors, and flight instructors will have a larger potential student base.”
