EAA’s Northwest EAA Fly-In at Arlington, Washington, will include a Light-Sport Aircraft Mall at this year’s event July 5-9. The LSA Mall offers attendees the opportunity to view a variety of these new recreational aircraft in one place.

All aviation enthusiasts are welcome, from experienced pilots to those just discovering the possibilities of flight, to have their questions answered by an EAA sport pilot expert.

A similar area at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2005 proved so popular that the area will be enhanced and expanded in future years at Oshkosh.

“With more than 30 ready-to-fly light-sport aircraft now available, the LSA Mall at Arlington will offer the best array of choices for those who want to know more about joining the sport pilot community,” said Charlie Becker, EAA’s sport pilot program manager. “It’s a one-stop wealth of information on the sport pilot rule and the wonderful world of flight available in light-sport aircraft.”

Aircraft on display will include fixed-wings of every variety plus trikes (weight-shift control), powered parachutes, and gyros. Industry representatives will be available to answer all questions about the new sport pilot rule as well as any questions about the aircraft.
