11/16/06 - VARIETY OF LSA COMMIT TO DECEMBER EAA SPORT PILOT TOUR STOPS
Aviation enthusiasts in Southern California will have two opportunities to inspect several popular light-sport aircraft and discover the exciting world of sport pilot recreational flying when EAA’s Sport Pilot Tour visits airports in that area of the state in December. EAA Chapter 1 hosts the tour at historic Flabob Airport in Riverside on December 2, and the following week Chapter 14 welcomes the tour to Brown Field in San Diego. Both events begin at 9 a.m.
Display aircraft and tour stop schedules, including full slates of forum presentations from sport pilot experts, are now available on the EAA sport pilot website. EAAers who attend will also have a chance to receive a free student sport pilot certificate as a special benefit of membership.
The event is free and open to the public, so come out and learn what it takes to be a sport pilot, see new factory built aircraft up close and flying, and get the latest information from the EAA experts The fun starts here! |
